A fitting-room key is a secret cut in your browser. The key is kept so the same wardrobe can be opened again. Treat it like a password.

The pieces on your bench, and the fit marks you drag onto an uploaded avatar, stay in that browser. They are not an account.

A listing address you paste is used to read that listing from an opted-in shop. A photo you upload is used to make the fitting. A shared fitting keeps the portrait and the pieces in it, under its own code.

If you link Etsy, AvatarFit checks sales from fitting-room shops against that link so a purchased piece can become a twin. Your name, your email, and your Etsy account number are not stored. Shops never see which wardrobe a twin went to.

Sellers

If you ask to join, we keep the name, email, and Etsy shop address you send, and the plan you pick. A fitting photo you attach is kept for that listing.

If you connect Etsy, we keep your shop, the listings you hang, and the sales facts needed to grant a twin. We do not keep the buyer’s name or email. A session cookie keeps you signed in on this site. A paid plan is checked out by Stripe, which handles the card.

What we don’t do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use a shopper’s Etsy identity for anything but matching a sale to a twin.
